Why are batteries that pass the pinprick test safer?

The needling test is to pierce a tiny needle into the inside of the lithium iron phosphate battery, resulting in a rapid release of electricity inside the battery. Needle prick is an artificially simulated battery short circuit, which is inevitably encountered in the outdoor battery aging, strong impact, and other special circumstances, which may cause an electrical short circuit. Even if a short circuit occurs, the pinprick test ensures that XT1500 will not catch fire and explode.
